Dear Professional: 

 

Our organization is seeking a team of World Changers to work with young adults on the front lines. We are looking for those who feel that they have learned a lot throughout their career, achieved much success, and are at the point in their lives where they want to give back to others.  They are not perfect people; however, they value the chance to learn from their mistakes and impart those lessons onto others.  These are individuals who care about the next generation of leaders. They don’t want to just sit back and watch, but rather in action, desire to pave the way for others.  They believe in the power of giving back through time, talent, and treasure for the sake of long-term positive change and sustention.

Mentor Selection Process 

Legacy Mentors are a select group of seasoned adult professionals seeking to guide young adults through leadership training and professional one-on-one coaching. They possess a wealth of knowledge and demonstrate a passion for young adults by:

  • Connecting and providing guidance to Fellows through Zoom once a month on scheduled Saturday’s from 10:00 - 11:00 AM (click here for program schedule).  Additional conversations may be scheduled, but are not required. 
     

  • Building skills by reading through Fellow course materials/topics prior to scheduled Zoom calls and preparing for conversations to re-emphasize learning.
     

  • Participating in three virtual, yearly in-service trainings on Thursday, November 4, 2021, January 6 , 2022, and, May 5, 2022 at 5:30 PM with Legacy Leaders program staff.
     

  • Making connections with fellows in-person on December 11, 2021 and the Fellows graduation ceremony on August 13, 2022 to celebrate their accomplishments.
